A modern system of access to the offer of the Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź
The platform whose construction is the subject of the project titled The modern system of access to the offer of the Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź is intended not only to make resources available in a digital version, but also to organize the process of visiting exhibitions and participating in other cultural events to the largest possible audience. In order to fully achieve its goals, the Museum has built a modern IT system that allows not only full access to resources in a digital version, but also allows for the simple organization of the Museum's substantive activities along with an online ticket reservation system. The system was designed taking into account the needs of all potential users, as well as the latest IT technologies ensuring efficient operation of the platform for at least the duration of the project, as well as the implementation of all planned functionalities. The platform architecture is a modular architecture consisting of several parts integrated under a common data exchange platform.
The effects of the implementation of the project include: an increase in the level of use of information and communication techniques and technologies; safe and efficient access to contemporary art; easier access to the Museum's resources; contributing to the construction of the information society and gradually increasing the number of people using the offer of the Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź, which has a positive impact on equal opportunities and significantly reduces the phenomenon of "digital exclusion".
This project is a continuation of digitization works carried out in 2011-2015, which aim to secure and make widely available the Museum's collections.
Total value of the project: 684,911.97 PLN
The project is implemented with funding from the Regional Operational Program of the Lodzkie Region for 2014-2020
Eligible expenses: 438,611.00 PLN
Contribution of European Funds: 324,572.14 PLN
Completion time: 1.01.2017 – 31.10.2017
On October 31, 2017, work on the portal was completed.
