Un Mundo Construido: Polonia 1918-1939

The exhibition realised in cooperation with Círculo de Bellas Artes (CBA, Madrid) aims at presenting the oeuvre of the Polish avant-garde artists of the turn of the 1920s and 1930s. The exhibition is to reveal the parallel character of the activities of Polish and European modernist avant-garde on the one and, on the other hand to show independence and unique character of its most important achievements such as the Unism theory of Strzemiński, spatial compositions by Katarzyna Kobro, functional typography, photomontage, etc.

The exhibition was prepared with the support of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute in Warsaw, Polish Institute in Madrid and Fundación Córdoba Ciudad Cultural.
