The winner of ms-award to be known soon

We will soon know the new laureate of the ms Award. The Award is given to institutions, companies, media representatives and private persons in recognition of their support offered to the Museum. The Award is meant to promote active support for cultural activities. By its presentation the Museum wishes to express gratitude to its supporters for exceptional assistance offered to ms in the previous year.

The name of the laureate for the current year will be announced during the official Award ceremony. The information will also be posted on our website.

Previous laureates of the ms award:

2009 - Marzena Bomanowska and the Łódź editorial board of Gazeta Wyborcza daily (for 2008) for helping to promote the events of Muzeum Sztuki, in particular the opening of ms2

2010 - Jarosław Przyborowski (for 2009) thanks to whom  the Muzeum could  purchase Daniel Buren's Cabane éclatée for its collection

2011 - Piotr Dzięcioł (for 2010), for his help in producing film footage from every exhibition as a part of the ms opus project

2012 - PEKAO S.A. Bank (for  2011) for sposoring our exhibitions

2013 - Łódź Association for the Encouragement of Fine Arts (for 2012) for donating  the Association’s unique collection of Polish contemporary art to the Muzeum Sztuki

2014 - TVP Kultura (for 2013) for long-lasting cooperation
