Meeting for Occupational Therapy Workshops

November 26, 2021, at  11:00-13:00, meeting with participants of the Occupational Therapy Workshops

moderated by: Agnieszka Wojciechowska-Sej, Katarzyna Mądrzycka-Adamczyk

On November 26, as part of the project "Digital Sharing of Resources of Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź", we are organizing another meeting addressed to people who want to learn more about the content available on the website zasoby.msl.org.pl. During the event, Agnieszka Wojciechowska-Sej, an employee of the Education Department of the Muzeum Sztuki, and Katarzyna Mądrzycka-Adamczyk, Accessibility Coordinator of the Muzeum Sztuki, will present the possibilities of the portal, which is successively enriched with digitized archives and works of art. When discussing specific museum objects, we will indicate possible ways of working with the materials available on the portal, paying particular attention to the needs of recipients with visual and hearing disabilities and cognitive challenges.

The Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź is an institution researching and presenting avant-garde art and progressive artistic phenomena. The Museum, founded in 1930, is one of the oldest institutions still in existence collecting avant-garde art. The implemented program corresponds to the revolutionary project developed at the turn of the 1920s and 1930s by the "a.r." group. Its members - Władysław Strzemiński, Katarzyna Kobro, Henryk Stażewski, Julian Przyboś and Jan Brzękowski - gave the newly established museum a gift in the form of a collection of modern art they had collected. Today, we share this gift with the Museum's guests: in real life at the premises and virtually via the portal zasoby.msl.org.pl.
